Be careful with the low-carbohydrate chocolates. They usually have caffeine, which could stall weight loss. They also usually use Maltitol, which can also stall weight loss.
Try them out and see how they work for you. Once in a while is no big deal – but if you make a habit of eating this stuff and it happens to affect you negatively, then use it sparingly.
Also, eating too much low carbohydrate chocolate can sometimes have a laxative affect. You’ll have to see what you’re limits are. I can usually eat a whole chocolate bar with no problem. If I eat two bars at a time, sometimes my stomach feels a little funny. You’ll really have to see for yourself.
Many low carbohydrate products (like candy bars) use a product called, Glycerine. This product is still under debate on whether or not it causes a rise in blood sugar. At the time of writing this e-book, many companies do not add Glycerin to the carbohydrate count. This is because Glycerin is believed to have a negligible affect on blood sugar.
Beer, you ask? Sure, you can have beer. But make it a light beer. You can check out the labels on most light beers and see just how many carbohydrates are in there. I think Miller Lite has less than 3 carbohydrates in a bottle. Most light beers have about 5.
Remember to try and stay under fifty carbohydrates per day - even with all these low-carbohydrate preparations. Of course, if your body still burns fat for fuel while taking in fifty-five carbohydrates a day, then fine. I think this will be a rare case, though.
Important :
Do not consume all your carbohydrates for the day in one setting. It does not work that way. Spread out your carbohydrates all day long. Around five per meal is best – if you need to go up to ten at a meal, it shouldn’t be too bad.
When you’re cheating, fifteen or twenty carbohydrates aren’t going to wreck your whole new way of life – but you wont lose any weight while you’re doing that. Keep this to special occasions or a day on the weekend if you can.
If you ever do go astray from this new way of life, go back into induction for a week or two. This would mean no sweets (not even Splenda or Stevia) or caffeine. This should set the record straight and get you back on the road to success…
With all of this great stuff - it's easy to stay on a low-carbohydrate way of life. In my opinion, you'll still lose weight even if you don't exercise, but you’ll lose the weight a lot quicker if you do. Why not get physical and lose the weight right away?
People say that once you stop eating carbohydrates, your craving for them stops as well. I believe this is absolutely true! Once I stopped eating carbohydrates, I didn’t have the desire for them anymore. Try the low carbohydrate way of life and I’d be willing to bet this works the same for you as well.
Somehow or another, carbohydrates make your body need more carbohydrates. Nowadays, I probably have at most (I really don’t count anymore) 50 carbohydrates per day and I never need any more than that. I'm very active and I never run out of energy. I actually have more energy now than I did before when I ate thousands of carbohydrates per day.
I won’t lie to you and say that I never want something from a fast food joint anymore. But, I can say that I no longer have the need for that kind of food. I don’t crave it like I used to.
Normally, (besides all the carbohydrates I ate/drank at meals) I'd have at least one Gatorade and a "Perfect Carbs" high carbohydrate energy drink before and/or after my workout.
You have no idea how much money I save every week drinking water from the water fountain (free) or bottled water as opposed to buying these drinks at the gym or local vitamin store. Plus, with all the food that I don't eat anymore, I save a real lot of money.
No more multiple daily trips to fast food joints and snack cravings for ice cream, cookies or cakes! This way of life makes me feel great, saves me lots of money, and has me in the best shape of my life at thirty years old.
Wait a minute! Let me tell you something that’s going to be hard to believe – and I have no idea how it works this way. But. When I do cheat, I seem thinner the next day. I can’t imagine how, but my stomach is always tighter the day after. It’s beyond me!
I never seem to gain weight anymore. I put two and two together to come up with this conclusion. Friends of mine that had done Atkins told me that even when they came off of Atkins, they still lost weight for a while.
Know what this tells me? It tells me that I can 'come off' my low carbohydrate way of life every now and then without having to worry about gaining weight - and so far it's working.
Sometimes I eat bread. I'll go to the Outback Steakhouse and eat that great bread that comes with your meal. No problem. Sometimes I eat that 'no fat, no sugar' ice cream you see in ice cream stores. The 'no sugar' only really means no 'added' sugar. So, there's still sugar because of the milk. But, no weight gain.
Sometimes I eat a few bites of a slice of pizza, with extra cheese and pepperoni along with the tomato sauce. Tomato sauce has sugar! But, since I don't do it all the time, my body still isn't sure what to do with the sugar - or the bread. So, it goes by without adding fat to my body.
I believe, that as long as you don't remind your body what sugar used to be used for, it will not remember.
Okay. This little booklet here is getting way too long. I know you don't want to sit here reading this forever. So, I'm going to cut it short. But, fear not. The forums are waiting for any questions you may have. When you bought this e-book, you also bought my help beyond the e-book.
I'll be answering any questions you may have in our private forums. Since this new way of life has worked so well for me, and I hear all this non-sense that the low-carbohydrate way of life does not work - I've decided to make it a priority in my life to let everyone know just how well it does work. You will help me prove that by participating in the forums and letting everyone know how well you are doing...
